2011 District Mathematics Olympics

On September 27, 2011 AJ was the contestant of his school for the Grade II Individual Category of the District Math Olympics held at Marbel 6 Elementary School, Barangay Concepcion, Koronadal City.  He won the Second Place for said contest.  I was not able to watch because it coincided with the RDC Week, however, I went there during lunch time and waited for the awarding ceremony.  Here are some pix I was able to take during that event ...

His younger brother Israh was also the contestant in the Grade I Individual Category of their school.  The contest was held at Carpenter Hill Elementary School on the same day.  It was so unfortunate that I was not able to watch because of the conflict on the RDC Week Tree Planting and Opening Ceremony.  Nonetheless, I am so proud of him because despite having no family around during the said contest, he was still able to get the 1st Place.  Congratulations my dear kids!!! Omie is so very very proud of you two ...
